AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D: Release with other Ryzen

Soon there will be a new processor very interesting for the socket AM4, namely the Ryzen 7 5800x3D. In a press release, AMD has now been communicated to the release of the alleged Gaming particularly strong CPU: on April 20, the release is the release for a price recommendation of $ 449 (about 410 euros). In addition, some other Ryzen processors will be launched at the same time as our colleagues of PC Games Hardware. But later more. First, it's about the Ryzen 7 5800x3D.

Ryzen 7 5800x3D: New Top CPU for Games?

AMD Goes After Intel: New $160 Zen 3 CPU, $99 Ryzen 3 4100, Ryzen 7 5800X3D Price

Through a smaller change in the architecture, the new Ryzen 7 is slightly improved by the 3D V-Cache technique for some computational operations slightly, also the amount of the level 3-chache rises from 32 to 96 megabytes - this can be mainly for games An advantage, since any unnecessary latency can ensure that, although not the actual overall legal duration, but the start of the computing process takes a little bit offset. 3D V-cache, the level 3-cache is arranged differently than usual: There are three cache layers on top of each other, which can exchange data together, so that - therefore the name - the data can flow quasi in three dimensions.

AMD speaks at the new Ryzen 7 5800x3D from a 15 percent performance in Full HD compared to a Ryzen 9 5900x. Thus, the Ryzen 7 5800x3d would be the fastest gaming CPU for the mainstream socket AM4. As for prices in Germany, we can only make a pre-assessment. The Ryzen 9 5900x currently costs 480 euros, but offers more cores than the Ryzen 7 5800x3D, which is mainly for some professional users a much more important argument than the FPS values at Games. The Ryzen 7 5800x in turn currently costs from 330 euros, and its EIA was 4,49 dollars at 4,49 dollars, just like the coming Ryzen 7 5800x3D. Presumably, the Ryzen 7 5800x3D is thus classified somewhere between the two already available Ryzen 7- and 9-CPUs. We hold a price of about 380 to 420 euros for realistic, which would be 410 euros calculated in the context of the 410 euros calculated from the dollar price.

But which further CPUs AMD will bring on the market on April 20th? In order to make Intel a little more fire under the base even under 250 euros, AMD expands the offer next to the Ryzen 7 5800x3D with the Ryzen 5 models 4500, 4600g, 5500 and 5600, which should cost as a price recommendation between 129 and 199 dollars. In addition, there will be a Ryzen 3 4100 ($ 99) as well as the Ryzen 7 5700x (299 dollars).
