When the village of the damned in 1995 came into the cinema, the remake of the horizon horror movie from the year 1960 flashed. Worse still: The strip was nominated in 1996 even for the golden raspberry in the category Lowest New Filming or Continued. Although the village of the damn does not belong to the great films of director John Carpenter, the film played a bit of money at least on the home theater market and even has a certain cult factor. The Blu-ray version published in 2015 is now even out of print and is sold on the used market for salted prices. No wonder then, the cook movie now launched a new version in the Limited Steel book.
